Mrs. Sunday Tyer of Jonesboro, formerly of Wynne, died on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at her home. She was 60. Sunday was born in Osceola, Arkansas, on February 29, 1960, to Ernest Blaine Reeves, Jr and the late Margaret Burgess Reeves. She was a retired school teacher, a master gardener and a member of the bunco club. She was also a member of the McElroy Methodist Church in Wynne. She was an incredible teacher and mentor. Sunday was a blessing to so many. Sunday is survived by her husband of 39 years, David B. Tyer of Jonesboro, daughters, Tiffany Leherr of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Tori Tyer of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, sons, William Thompson Tyer and wife Jessie of Jonesboro, Blaine Block Tyer of Jonesboro, and brother, Ernest Blaine Reeves, Jr., five grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, October 19, 2020, at Kernodle Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 11 AM at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Cogbill Cemetery.
