    JoAnn Hobbs South

    December 15, 1929 - April 4, 2021

    Mrs. JoAnn South of Colt died on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her home. JoAnn was born on December 15, 1929, in Colt, Arkansas, to the late Palmer Lee and Eula Leota Hobbs. She worked for Hobbs Equipment before retiring. JoAnn was a member of Fitzgerald Crossing Baptist Church and was attending Wynne Baptist Church. JoAnn is survived by her great nephews, Dewayne, Randell, and Shannon Hobbs and their families, and stepchildren, Mark and Russell South, Christie Loggins and Shelia Newsom. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd South and nephew, Larry Hobbs. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 10 am at Cogbill Cemetery with Rev. Matt Dunavant and Rev. Kirk Owens officiating. Memorials may be made to Wynne Baptist Church, P. O. Box 874, Wynne, Arkansas 72396.
