Herbert Watlington

Mr. Herbert Watlington, 82, of Colt, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 in Forrest City, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Watlington and Ethel Luker Watlington; daughter, Malinda Watlington and son, Bobby Watlington. Mr. Watlington was born in Wynne, Arkansas, on March 20, 1932. He was an avid gardener and loved to fish and hunt. He married Ester Wren Watlington in 1953 and she preceded him in death in 2009. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Hogland of Colt; Diane Mettler of Colt; Marilyn Devazier of Wynne; Carolyn Weaver of Collierville, TN and Gail Oritz of California; sons, Gary Watlington of Floral, AR; Jackie Watlington of Wynne and Ronnie Watlington of Bradford, AR; 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2015, from 4 to 6 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11 AM at Kernodle Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
