Belinda Jane Reeves

Belinda Jane Reeves, age 66, of Forrest City, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Forrest City Medical Center surrounded by those who loved her most. Born on August 31, 1959, in Forrest City, Belinda was the daughter of James Self and Lois Fisher Self Beggs. She spent nearly all her life in St. Francis County, where she built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. Belinda was so much more than a homemaker—she was a devoted mother, a proud business owner, and the heart of her family. For many years, she owned and operated Dump Right Dump Trailers, a business she poured her energy and determination into, earning the respect of everyone who knew her. Her strong will and dedication inspired those around her to work hard and love deeply. Belinda’s happiest moments were spent surrounded by her family—especially during big holiday gatherings that she always made extra special. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where everyone was fed, loved, and made to feel at home. She had a giving spirit, a quick laugh, and a love that stretched far and wide. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Flowers (Mitch Reeves) of Forrest City; her son, Casey Ward (DeAnn Henard) of Forrest City; three step-sons, Justin Reeves, Rustin Reeves, and Dustin Reeves, all of Forrest City; her brothers, Jimmy Self of Stuttgart, Robert Beggs of Memphis, and David Beggs of West Memphis; her sister, Ruth Ward of Forrest City; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Reeves and Patty Self; four grandchildren, Caitlyn Kemp, Anna Spencer, Austin Spencer, and Caroline Ward; four great-grandchildren; and one special friend and caregiver, Stephanie “Kat” Harris. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, John Wayne Beggs, her mother, Lois Beggs, and her brother, Bud Self. A memorial service will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Friday.
